Grades: 7-12 Careers in Architecture


Wednesday, December 5 - "Careers in Architecture" - presented by Chad Polk, CEO of CDP Architecture firm in Nashville, TN. This discussion will showcase how architecture is an imaginative blend of art and science where design ideas become physical realities in environments for people. Decision-making, team leadership, communication, and creativity are the key skills needed by architects. Come and explore a career in architecture and learn how architects transform the needs of people into concepts and then develop the concepts into building images that can be constructed by others.

Time: 9:00 and 10:00 AM (CENTRAL time zone)

Format: 45-minute interactive videoconference with Q & A with students
