Exploring Careers in Fuel Cells and Power Storage

Join with Thomas G. Howell, an aeronautical engineer from UES, Inc. as he discusses his educational background, the path he took to get to where he is now, and his real-life engineering experiences. He will describe his work with fuel cells and fuel reforming to show how it can benefit the government and citizens as a whole. This will include an overview of why fuel cells are used and how they are used in the military. Wonder what it's like behind the camera at a sporting event? Meet a freelance photojournalist as he shares his experiences covering college and professional sporting events throughout the United States. He is a contract photographer for The Upper Deck Trading Card Company and also freelances regularly for Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, and more. He will share the education and training necessary to become a sports photographer as well as the potential for job growth and benefits. Join with practicing physical therapists from The Atrium (formerly Middletown Regional Hospital) as they discuss the education and training required to enter the field of physical therapy and other allied health professions. They will also discuss their real-life experiences in patient care in both the hospital setting and in private practice. Careers in Cosmetology (FREE to LCDLC Members)

WVIZ is hosting a "Careers in Cosmetology" program on Thursday, April 10. The program will feature representatives from The Ohio Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School.
The beauty industry consists of hairdressers, salon owners, manufacturers and distributors. This is a $72 billion domestic and $250 billion international industry. Career opportunities as a cosmetologist are unlimited. Please share the attached information with your students interested in the professional salon industry.
Schools interested in their students participating in this program should contact my office by April 3rd.

Careers in Investments will discuss a career choice that answers basic questions:
* Discuss investing, money management, and responsible decision making as a career choice

* What are the tax consequences of your investment decisions?

Join our presenter, Matthew Wright, Vanderbilt University Vice Chancellor for Investments for a discussion of "Careers in Investments." In his job, he is responsible for the management of approximately $4 Billion in stock, bonds, venture capital, leveraged buyout, real estate, timber, and oil and gas investments.
The investments world is fascinating and very challenging mentally. If you are very deliberate in what you do and very disciplined, you tend to be successful.
