Exploring Careers in Sports Photography
Wonder what it's like behind the camera at a sporting event? Meet a freelance photojournalist as he shares his experiences covering college and professional sporting events throughout the United States. He is a contract photographer for The Upper Deck Trading Card Company and also freelances regularly for Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, and more. He will share the education and training necessary to become a sports photographer as well as the potential for job growth and benefits. Students from participating middle schools and high schools will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with this photojournalist. Click here for the registration form.
Each session begins at 1:00 and ends at 1:50.
Cost for each participating school is $50 per session.
Schools may participate with IP or ATM videoconferencing equipment.
