Grades 7-12: Careers in Respiratory Therapy

This is your opportunity to participate in a video conference with a respiratory therapist from the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio and discover what is necessary to enter this growing career field. Respiratory therapists evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Interactive discussion will include the education and training necessary to become a respiratory therapist, the outlook for jobs in this field, and the typical day-to-day life of a respiratory therapist. Students will have the opportunity to interact with this medical professional.
