FREE Grades 7-12: Careers in Computer Forensics


Computer crime is one of the fastest growing areas of crime in the world. This has created an increased need for individuals in Computer Forensics as a Computer Forensic Investigator.

Computer forensics is a branch of digital forensic science pertaining to legal evidence found in computers and digital storage media. The goal of computer forensics is to examine digital media in a forensically sound manner with the aim of preserving, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions about the information.

A Computer Forensics Investigator is trained to utilize and apply computer forensic services and software tools to criminally investigate cyber crime.

Join us as our panelists, from Lorain County Community College, discuss their background in computer forensics, the courses, skills and training necessary to succeed in this increasingly important career field.
