October 5 @ 1:00 - Exploring Careers in Cosmetology
Explore the career of cosmetology and discover what is involved in getting a start in the field as well as managing your own salon. Our guest is Gayle Poley, an independent contractor and managing cosmetologist with Miya's Hair Design. She will share the training necessary to gain entry into the field as well as what is required to stay up-to-date in the latest in style and fashion. Students from each participating school will be able to ask questions and discuss issues with this practicing stylist.
Cost? $50 per session for SOITA Comprehensive member schools; $75 for all others.
