Grades 7-12: Careers in Real Estate Sales

Real estate sales have been depressed during these tough economic times. Existing homes on the market are plentiful but buyers are hesitant. Finding the right home for the right buyer is the desire of a real estate professional. Jason White, real estate advisor for residential and light commercial properties in southwest Ohio, prides himself with finding the correct fit. He states that the fit comes with more than the price. You have to find the property that “feels” like a place where you would like to live and/or raise a family. Whether he represents the buyer or the seller you have to get to know the personalities and wants and desires and match those with available properties or potential buyers. Jason realizes that buying or selling a home is probably the single largest transaction that the client has ever made and therefore must create confidence that all aspects are being handled professionally to the full extent of the law. Jason will share with students the types of classes he has taken, what students can do now to be prepared, and his thoughts about home sales in the future.
