Grades 7-12: STEM Careers in Engineering: Defense and Safety

Join with an electrical engineer from the Air Force Research Labs, who is also pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Dayton, as she discusses the education and skills required to succeed in the field of engineering. She will describe her work in radar signal and image processing as it relates to defense and security as well as provide an overview of the many applications of radar systems outside of defense and security arenas. Students from participating schools with have the opportunity to interact with this engineer.
