Noted Choreographer Keith Young will be our guest on Tuesday, September 23 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Invite your students to meet and interact with one of the premiere choreographers working in the entertainment industry today. Recent credits include: JOSH GROBAN’S 2007 “Awake” Tour; the SOBE LIFE WATER “Thriller” spot starring Naomi Campbell and some very talented lizards; the fabulously retro KIA “Maniac” spot; and television shows PUSHING DAISIES and THE UNIT and soon to be released film DARK STREETS, starring Bijou Phillips.
Other prestigious credits include the 78th Annual ACADEMY AWARDS, the feature film HUSTLE & FLOW. He is particularly proud of his choreographic work on the feature film RENT, directed by Chris Columbus, along with the top-grossing WHAT WOMEN WANT, starring Mel Gibson.
Just a few of Keith’s other accomplishments include choreography for the Outkast video ROSES, numerous videos and stage productions for Babyface, and countless ad campaigns for such products as THE GAP, K-MART, and PEPSI. Keith is a multiple American Choreography Award nominee and winner, and received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on THE DREW CAREY SHOW. His choreography for RENT was recognized at the 2008 Choreography Media Honors.
Keith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
