Exploring Careers in Piloting Airplanes
Have you ever thought about what it would be like to fly a plane yourself? Join us as we talk with a pilot from the United States Air Force. He will share his experiences flying a military plane as well as opportunities he has had during his career. Education and ongoing training for pilots will also be discussed. Students from participating middle schools and high schools will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with this professional.
The Let's Talk Careers! series is targeted toward middle school and high school students. Each of the Thursday sessions focuses on a specific career path and is offered from 1:00PM to 1:50PM. The cost to participate is only $50 per session per site.
Students will hear from the career expert and then have an opportunity to ask questions and seek additional information. Prior to each videoconference, participating schools will receive materials and other resources that will enhance students experience in the Let’s Talk Careers session.
To register, please download the Registration Form located on the right. After completing the form, please fax, email, or mail it back to SOITA. For questions, please contact Bob Stricker at Bob@SOITA.org.
