Exploring Careers in Physical TherapyJoin with practicing physical therapists from the Atrium Medical Center as they discusses the education and training required to enter the field of physical therapy and other allied health professions. They will also discuss their real-life experiences in patient care in both the hospital setting and in private practice. Students from participating middle schools and high schools will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with these professional practitioners.
The Let's Talk Careers! series is targeted toward middle school and high school students. Each of the Thursday sessions focuses on a specific career path and is offered from 1:00PM to 1:50PM. The cost to participate is only $50 per session per site.
Students will hear from the career expert and then have an opportunity to ask questions and seek additional information. Prior to each videoconference, participating schools will receive materials and other resources that will enhance students experience in the Let’s Talk Careers session.
