Grades 7-12: Exploring Careers of Paramedics & EMTs

October 23

Exploring Careers of Paramedics and EMTs

Engage with members of the Beavercreek Fire Department as they share the education and training necessary to enter the world of paramedics and EMT, as well as the potential for job growth and benefits. They will also discuss real-life experiences they have encountered on the job. Students from participating middle schools and high schools will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with this professional.

The Let's Talk Careers! series is targeted toward middle school and high school students. Each of the Thursday sessions focuses on a specific career path and is offered from 1:00PM to 1:50PM. The cost to participate is only $50 per session per site.

Students will hear from the career expert and then have an opportunity to ask questions and seek additional information. Prior to each videoconference, participating schools will receive materials and other resources that will enhance students experience in the Let’s Talk Careers session.
