Exploring STEM Careers of Biomedical Engineers
"Acoustics and 3-D Hearing" A biomedical engineer from the Human Effectiveness Directorate of the Air Force Research Labs will discuss her educational background, the path she took to get to where she is now, her real-life engineering experiences and how she uses her knowledge of acoustics and human hearing in her research. There will be an overview of 3-D hearing and how it is used in the cockpits of airplanes to assist pilots in navigation. Click here for the registration form.
