Exploring Careers in Aerospace Engineering
This is your opportunity to speak with a program manager from GE Aircraft Engines as he talks about the field of aerospace engineering. You will learn about the thermal design and the secondary flow system design of the GE90 product line, the world’s largest and most powerful jet engines. Participants from middle schools and high schools will have the opportunity to ask questions about engineering design and discuss the educational training necessary to become an aerospace engineer.
The Let's Talk Careers! series is targeted toward middle school and high school students. Each of the Thursday sessions focuses on a specific career path and is offered from 1:00PM to 1:50PM. The cost to participate is only $50 per session per site.
Students will hear from the career expert and then have an opportunity to ask questions and seek additional information. Prior to each videoconference, participating schools will receive materials and other resources that will enhance students experience in the Let’s Talk Careers session.
